Synopsis

Introduction: Rolling a library means bringing reading, art, and culture to more people, planting small seeds of knowledge. A piece of the soul of various authors approaches those who dare to open a book and discover great stories, traveling through the town, city, or community. This project reaches people of all ages who do not have access to a traditional library so that they can enjoy the freedom to read and share anywhere. Objective: To evaluate the influence of the Bibliobici on reading habits and cultural participation through community-focused solidarity service.Methodology:Using surveys and interviews with Bibliobici users through Participatory Action Research (PAR) and the philosophy of Paulo Freire, implementing Service-Learning (SL).Results:An increase in recreational and critical reading, greater participation in writing, art, and reading workshops, as well as activities like traveling exhibitions, outdoor cinema, fostering creativity, critical thinking, strengthening the sense of community, and connection among participants. Conclusion:The Bibliobici is an effective catalyst for promoting a love for reading and changing the reading habits of the community. The accessibility of books and traveling cultural activities reduce barriers to culture and knowledge.
