Chapter 13 - Implementation of the project-based methodology for the development of entrepreneurial skills in high school students
Synopsis
Project-Based Learning (PBL) is an active methodology that aims to achieve a better understanding and application of the topics covered in class, therefore it is proposed to describe how the experience has been with the execution of PBL, in students, through the implementation of entrepreneurship projects, trying to solve community problems, at CBTis 75 in Dolores Hidalgo, Cuna de la Independencia Nacional, Guanajuato, during its implementation a descriptive methodology was used, collecting a portfolio of evidence, projects, photos, logs and posters of the consultations that were recorded in a checklist, in addition to conducting some interviews with former students who carried out innovative projects that focused and motivated them to continue their ventures after finishing high school. The students applied PBL with their ventures and some even commercialized them, supporting the local market of the municipality, in which young people make their way to become entrepreneurs. Therefore, the project-based methodology provided a framework for students to learn, in their context, how to apply their knowledge to solve a real-life problem observed in the community, which could be addressed through income-generating microenterprises.
